Our local meetings have expenses such as this website, zoom accounts, rent, literature etc.
OA members can donate to the Montana Intergroup of their choice. OA groups typically pass donations to the intergroup they've chosen to represent them at the region and world service levels. It is suggested that each group donate regularly, perhaps monthly or quarterly. Generally, a group keeps a prudent reserve equivalent to 3 months’ basic expenses, and then sends excess funds to Intergroup, Region One, and the World Service Office. Suggested distribution is typically, 60% to your Montana Intergroup, 30% sent to the World Service office, and 10% sent to Region One. Please include your group's information (group#, city, meeting day/time), as well as contact (phone or email) information with your check.
